Welcome to Kids On The Move Alameda!

Taking it off the Island for daytime Bay time adventures.  Our camp takes kids on the move, exploring exciting activities around the beautiful Bay Area. Each day is a new adventure filled with creativity, exploration, and play. Join us for daytime Bay time fun! Limit 8 kids per camp.

• All entry fees covered by tuition

• Two delicious snacks provided daily (just pack a lunch!)

• Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• extended care available: 8-9am and 4-5 pm additional fee

Program Lead: Rebecca Trissell

With over 25 years of experience as a special education teacher and 15 years as a yoga/mindfulness teacher Rebecca is passionate about nurturing growth, curiosity, and confidence in children, teens, and young adults. Her career spans both public and private sectors, driven by a commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Rebecca’s teaching journey began in 1998 and included three years in the Peace Corps in Ecuador, where she served as an educator and program manager. She has also worked the public school system in Kansas, San Francisco, Menlo Park, and currently in Alameda Unified School Districts and has owned and operated afterschool programs and camps that combined learning with creativity, movement and adventure.

She is dedicated to fostering wonder, community, and mindfulness in young learners while exploring the Bay Area.
